AAMT works closely with respected broadcast and media training consultants, Training for TV. We pride ourselves in the quality of our instructors, who are highly experienced, having worked with and trained staff for major international broadcasters for over many years.
They teach a wide range of subjects across the whole operational curriculum, specialising in video, audio and digital systems training as well as essential production techniques.

Neil Garner

Neil Garner has 25 years of TV experience including 20 years with the BBC where he was staff trainer at the world famous BBC Training College at Wood Norton. He has worked in all parts of post-production, has directed programs and been a technical/engineering manager for large studio productions.
Neil has lots of experience designing, planning and delivering large training projects and still manages to spend a good deal of time doing what he enjoys best… teaching. In 2006, he established Training for TV, a company providing a wide range of courses to customers worldwide, including all the major UK broadcasters.

Mark Kershaw

Mark Kershaw has 30 years’ experience as a BBC Television Producer and Director. As a former Cameraman and Vision Mixer, Mark is well placed to show all broadcasting staff the value of the team effort required to produce top quality programming.
Now a freelance Broadcast Consultant and Trainer, he has been a lead trainer of the BBC’s Multi-camera Director Courses for several years. He has also undertaken training producers and directors, in both single camera and multi-camera techniques across the world.
